Massage Therapy is direct hands on contact with muscular tissue. The aim is to assess and treat soft tissues promoting enhanced performance recovery and normalising function.
Massage can stimulate circulation, reduce pain, stiffness and improve tissue quality.
Through massage, blood and lymph flow can be increased thus improving the removal of toxins and other byproducts and increase the delivery nutrients to the desired area.
When this therapy is used in conjunction with exercise and lifestyle coaching, results can be generated even faster.
Simple self-massage techniques can be used to accompany exercises in your programme as well.
